(The first time I saw the Grip-Tite in a magazine, Frank was using one grip-tite to cut a 70 degree bevel on a 5'x3' x1 1/2" thick maple top. The table top was on it's edge- 5' high- with one grip-tite holding it against the fence. For us normal woodworkers I would suggest using two grip-tites)
